44 students applied to participate in the third edition of this exhibition, from which 11 projects were brought together from students coming from Albania, North Macedonia, and Kosovo. Out of these projects, a selected jury announced the five best projects – three of which were awarded prizes. All the projects were created using recycled materials, and each one featured a unique structure, designed as outdoor seating.
These creations not only showcase the students’ creativity but also raise awareness about the importance of recycling and environmental protection.
According to Joana Korimi, Marketing Director of ACREM*, the “Riciklo Kreativ” event is a testament to TEG’s commitment to the community, particularly to young people.
“TEG is a shopping center that always takes increasing responsibility toward the community, especially towards young people, because young people are the inspiration, the energy; they are the ones who encourage us to pursue our goals to build a better society,” stated Joana Korimi.
For Armand Vokshi, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning in Tirana, this third edition surpassed previous editions, owing to the strong interest and high level of engagement from the students.
“This year’s participation was higher than in previous years, and the students who came with their groups this year are from Albania… from different faculties of Architecture, as well as from North Macedonia, Tetovo, and Kosovo,” said Armand Vokshi.
TEG remains a home for creative art, for architects from the country and the region, but above all, for responsible citizens who share the same vision: continuous work and awareness for a cleaner and greener environment, and consequently for a healthier society. This vision is fully aligned with the mission of Mane Foundation, which is committed to promoting initiatives that support sustainable development.
