B4Students is now a supporter of the Skill Up Academy, an initiative that’s all about equipping Albanian students with important life skills that go beyond the classroom. Over 100 students joined the first lecture at the University of Medicine in Tirana, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for students across various fields.
The first session, titled “Leadership of the Future,” was led by Marin Mema, a well-known public figure in Albania. It sparked engaging discussions on leadership and its impact on shaping tomorrow’s world. Students had the chance to dive into fresh ideas, share their thoughts, and gain insights from an inspiring figure.
The Skill Up Academy was created by passionate students Armelda Ago, Armando Lekaj, and Esmeralda Sherifi, who wanted to provide their peers with practical skills needed in today’s professional world. Over the next five lectures, topics will include financial literacy, emotional intelligence, leadership, mindset, and work-study-life balance skills essential for both career and personal growth.
Armelda Ago shared her excitement about the positive atmosphere at the first lecture: “It was amazing to see such broad participation. We’re thrilled by the students’ interest and are confident that these lectures will have a lasting impact.”
She also spoke about the academy’s vision: “The job market today needs more than academic knowledge. It requires practical skills and a broader perspective. That’s exactly what we want to give students through Skill Up Academy.”
B4Students, powered by Mane Foundation, is proud to support initiatives like Skill Up Academy, which align with its mission to empower student-led social projects. This marks the fifth initiative to receive backing from Social Clubs. Through logistical, technical, and financial assistance, B4Students is enabling students to drive meaningful change while honing critical skills for the future. Looking ahead, B4Students aims to leverage Social Clubs to tackle pressing issues and help students unlock new opportunities for personal and professional development.
